About This Group

The San Francisco Estuary Geospatial Workgroup is a diverse group of researchers, managers and scientists engaged in coastal management and ecology. This multidisciplinary partnership emphasizes integration of geospatial technology in coastal management and restoration. In addition to a core group of strategic science partners, the workgroup includes industry, agency, and academic partners allowing the workgroup to leverage a deep network of skills and expertise to increase the scope of individual and combined efforts.

Group rules

This group is for geospatial practitioners and for those interested in geospatial science and technology. If you have any trouble gaining access, please email us at tech@sfei.org with a request to be added as a group member.

Although the group is generally focused on the San Francisco Estuary, membership and participation are not geographically restricted. Our hope for this forum is to discuss topics of interest related to geospatial science and technology and to highlight sharing and collaboration opportunities.
